NEW: Illegal immigrants charged in beating of NYPD officers identified as Venezuelan gang members

Two of the illegal immigrants charged in the brutal beating of NYPD officers have been identified as part of the Tren de Argua gang from Venezuela.  

Wilson Juarez, 21, and Kelvin Servita-Arocha, 19, have been identified as allegedly belonging to the brutal Tren de Argua gang.  

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has confirmed that they belong to the gang, according to the New York Post.  

ICE spokeswoman Marie Ferguson sent an email to the outlet, stating, “Both unlawfully present Venezuelan citizens have been charged in conjunction with the violent gang assault carried out on two NYPD officers are are currently detailed [sic] without bond.” 

“Both noncitizens have been identified as members of the Tren de Aragua transnational criminal organization,” Ferguson added.
