Ariel Pink's Highland Park show cancelled after venue staff complains

Musician Ariel Pink has apparently been barred from performing an upcoming show at the Lodge Room in Highland Park. Pink went on to say that the Lodge Room represented his largest market, but that he will now not be able to perform. 

The lo-fi aesthete took to Twitter on Tuesday, posting: “Was booked to play at the Lodge Room in Highland Park next month. Staff complained. Show canceled. My biggest market.”

A fellow Twitterite commented on the post, asking for Pink to post the details of the venue so fans could call, apparently to lobby for allowing Pink to perform. 

Pink subsequently posted a screenshot of the venue’s contact information. It is unknown how many people have called the Lodge Room, campaigning for the lo-fi aesthete.
