Arizona State University pulls down American flags, replaces them with Juneteenth and Pride flags

On Wednesday, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk blasted Arizona State University for replacing American flags lining a street with Juneteenth and Pride flags.

Kirk posted photos of ASU’s downtown Tempe, Arizona campus, with streets lined with alternating colorful pride flags, and the Juneteenth flag bearing a large star.

Kirk wrote that he and Candace Owens “came out against Juneteenth” last year, the same year that President Biden declared the day a federal holiday.

“We tried to warn people this would create anti-Americanism and a distraction from July 4th,” Kirk wrote.

“Now on the campus of @ASU in Tempe they are taking down American flags and putting Juneteenth and ‘Pride Flags’ in their place,” Kirk continued.
