During a press briefing on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre accidentally said “President Obama” when she intended to reference Joe Biden.
“So today, as you all saw just an hour or so ago, President Obama announced that—pardon me, President Biden,” Jean-Pierre said. She caught her gaffe and then exclaimed a prolonged, “Whoa.”
On Twitter, Newsmax host Benny Johnson said she was saying the “Quiet part out loud.”
Others on Twitter said she “She didn’t make a mistake she spoke the truth” and said she was a “clown.”
In January, Today News Africa reporter Simon Aterba asked the Press Secretary about additional classified documents were found at Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware homes and said “Karine, since you don’t have any answer on the classified documents, you don’t seem a good fit for this job.”
