BREAKING: Ex-Tucker Carlson producer drops lawsuit against Fox News alleging coercion in Dominion deposition, intends to refile

On Tuesday, it was revealed that former Tucker Carlson producer Abby Grossberg withdrew her lawsuit against Fox News executives claiming that she was they coerced her into lying in her Dominion Voting Systems defamation case deposition. 

In a Friday court filing in Delaware Superior Court viewed by The New York Times, Grossberg said she was voluntarily dismissing the complaint without prejudice, meaning the case can be brought forth again. 

A lawyer for Grossberg, Parisis Filippatos, said his client intends to refile the case in another jurisdiction “in the coming weeks.” 

“Fox would be mistaken in viewing our client’s voluntary dismissal of her civil conspiracy claims,” he said, “as a retreat from those claims.”

“We have often stated in public that we believe Abby Grossberg’s claims surrounding her coerced testimony in the Dominion case form the essential connective tissue between Fox’s misconduct in that case and the case being adjudicated by Smartmatic in New York, where it is seeking $2.7 billion in damages for very similar misconduct by Fox,” he added.

Grossberg has a separate pending lawsuit filed in the Southern District of New York claiming that former Fox News host Tucker Carlson encouraged a hostile and sexist workplace environment.
