The House GOP endorsements come after a new poll published on New Year’s Day found Donald Trump to be leading among Hispanic and younger voters over incumbent Joe Biden.
The USA Today/Suffolk University poll found that Trump leads Biden among American voters 39 to 37 percent, with 17 percent supporting a third-party option
Trump has the majority of the Hispanic vote, with 39 percent supporting the former president over Biden, who garnered 34 percent support. In 2020, Biden drew in 65 percent of the vote in the group, double the 32 percent Trump received.
Trump now also leads among voters under the age of 35, with 37 percent of these voters supporting Trump compared to 33 percent supporting Biden.
The survey was conducted of 1,000 likely US voters between Dec. 26 and 29, and has a margin of error of 3.1 percent.
