Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has tested positive for COVID-19 following a week of travel and meetings with other government officials.
He made the announcement via Twitter.
“I’ve tested positive for COVID-19,” he wrote Monday morning, adding that he would be isolating as per Health Canada guidelines.
“I feel okay,” he said, “but that’s because I got my shots. So, if you haven’t, get vaccinated – and if you can, get boosted. Let’s protect our healthcare system, each other, and ourselves.”
