California school security officer charged with intent to commit sex crime against minor student

High school Campus Security Officer Jonathan Ray Calderilla of Colton, California was arrested Friday on the charge of “Contacting a Minor with the Intent to Commit a Sex Crime.”

According to local news, Calderilla is accused of sending “inappropriate text messages to the minor” by authorities. Police released a photo of the accused as they believe there are likely additional victims.

35-year-old Calderilla was a school Campus Security Officer at Slover Mountain Continuation High School which is part of the Colton Unified School District.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff posted on Twitter, saying: “School Campus Security Officer Arrested for Contacting a Minor with the Intent to Commit a Sex Crime.”
