Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) reportedly planned a Congressional Delegation (CODEL) Kiev trip in anticipated approval of Ukraine aid, indicating that the Democratic senator knew that even if a deal on border security failed, his Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) would help pass the aid package with nothing to show for it. 

Charlie Kirk posted to X Wednesday evening, “I just received word that Schumer has a CODEL (Congressional Delegation) to Kiev planned for two weeks from now to celebrate his and McConnell’s Ukraine funding win.”
