On Friday, the Nebraska State Legislature passed the “Let Them Grow Act,” a bill that bans abortions after 12 weeks and bans child sex changes, and during the bill’s final debate, far-left pro-abortion and pro-trans activists assaulted police while protesting at the Nebraska State Capitol building.
Surveillance video shows one protester wearing a rainbow-colored skirt allegedly rushing police and punching one state trooper in the chest. The Daily Mail reports the protestors also threw bloody tampons on the floor of the Capitol building and a total of six were arrested.
Local news reports the protestors were attempting to rush the balcony overlooking the floor of the proceedings.
33-year-old Sara Crawford was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer and 40-year-old Benjamin Buras was arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest and over the incident with the state trooper.
Additionally, 36-year-old Maghie Miller-Jenkins, 25-year-old Mar Lee and 24-year-old Lucia Salinas were arrested for allegedly disturbing the peace and obstructing a government operation. 56-year-old Danna Seevers was arrested for disobeying a lawful order and all six were booked into the Lancaster County Jail, according to the state patrol website.
