A tenured history professor at Madera Community College in California is being investigated for handing out gendered chocolate bars.
David Richardson gave students ”He/Him” chocolate bars with nuts and “She/Her” “nutless” chocolate, a clear joke nodding to basic human biology, being that males have testicles and women do not.
Richardson is also banned from “non-public” areas of the district and his Madera email; he is also prohibited from taking any action that could be construed as retaliation against anyone.
Richardson bought a case of Jeremy’s Chocolate when the conservative Daily Wire launched the chocolate brand two months ago to protest Hershey’s naming a biological male with testicles as its spokesperson for International Women’s Day.
Richardson added the bars to the “goodies” he has always handed out. A staff member “started taking pictures” of the bars and “kept trying to bait me,” but nothing happened until the letter on Monday, Richardson told Just the News.
The SCCCD and Richardson reportedly have a history, with it previously finding that the “open and proud LGBTQIA2S+ individual” guilty of “unprofessional conduct” stemming from the pronoun-etiquette Zoom seminar.
