A GoFundMe page for a child with cancer has received tens of thousands of dollars in donations after a video showed the boy’s apparent eviction of from a Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Austin Furgason, from Kelowna, British Columbia, the father of a 4-year-old boy with leukemia who has been undergoing treatment since October, posted a video to Facebook showing a letter from Ronald McDonald House Charities – British Columbia & Yukon that made the announcement of the evictions.

The GoFundMe, which was set up in October when he received the diagnosis, has since exploded.
