Jim Jordan demands Biden's ed sec account for asking FBI to investigate angry parents at school board meetings

On Friday, Ohio Representative and Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan subpoenaed Biden’s Department of Education to produce records regarding the agency’s involvement in the attempt to classify angry parents at school board meetings as domestic terrorists.

The Daily Caller reports that according to the subpoena, “Education Secretary Miguel Cardona is ‘commanded’ to produce documents before the Judiciary Committee on March 1, 2023, at 9 am ET.”

As The Post Millennial reported, Cardona solicited the letter from the National School Board Association (NBSA) that equated parents protesting at school boards over issues such as radical gender ideology, critical race theory, and forced masking, to domestic terrorists.

The information came after a parental rights  group, Parents Defending Education, put in a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

The letter sent by the NBSA said that the Patriot Act could be invoked as a measure against outspoken parents such as those in Loudoun County, Virginia. Biden’s DOJ then used the letter as a pretense to tell the FBI to conspire with local officials to crack down on the school board meetings.
