During oral arguments on Feb. 28, conservative members of the Supreme Court seemed skeptical of Biden administration statements that the government’s plan to partially forgive student loans is authorized by federal law.

The Defense Department’s inspector general and other Pentagon officials testified on oversight of U.S. military aid to Ukraine before the House Armed Services Committee. Amid some lawmakers’ concerns of possible corruption or misuse in Ukraine, officials assured the committee that weapons provided to the country are being used for their intended purposes.

A new report from a leading cybersecurity firm says hackers linked to China have targeted various industries in the United States and around the world.

Voters in Chicago are heading to the polls for the city’s mayoral election. Incumbent Mayor Lori Lightfoot faces eight challengers as she seeks reelection in a race that is largely focused on crime and policing.
