Following the torching of a future Atlanta police training facility by Antifa-linked extremists On Sunday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene condemned the attack, calling for Antifa to officially be declared a terrorist organization.

“Antifa attacked the Atlanta future Public Safety Training Facility. This is domestic terrorism,” Greene tweeted on Sunday evening. 

“It was planned for weeks and announced on social media. Antifa are self proclaimed communists and consistently organize to attack our government over and over again. They should be taken seriously and not tolerated anymore,” she added.

In a follow-up tweet Greene wrote, “Antifa are domestic terrorists and I’m introducing my resolution to officially declare them a terrorist organization on Tuesday.”

Greene pledged to introduce the new legislation in January, telling Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, “America is sick and tired of Antifa” following riots held across the country in response to an extremist being killed by police on the training facility grounds known as “cop city” after he pulled a gun on responding officers.

“Look at what they’ve done over years now. Just from 2020, they’re responsible for nearly 2 billion in damage and many people dead,” she continued.
