On Saturday, Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene took to social media to call out out Dominion Voting Systems as they pursue defamation lawsuits against Fox News, OANN, and Newsmax instead of working to “earn back public trust” and prove their machines, which have been heavily used in US elections since 2020, are trustworthy despite ongoing reports of their malfunction.
“Democrats are organizing to cancel conservative media company Fox News while Dominion is suing Fox for $1.6 Billion. Dominion is also suing OANN, Newsmax, both of whom have been removed from AT&T/Direct TV, and they are suing many others for billions of dollars,” the congresswoman tweeted.
“I wonder if Dominion will have to release its software in any of these lawsuits to show there was no manipulation of votes? You would think Dominion would be more than happy to prove their software and machines are trustworthy in order to earn back public trust,” she added.
The congresswoman linked to a Politico article published Friday, titled, “Dems want to cut Fox off after lawsuit revelations.”
According to Politico, “The thunderclap of stories showing Fox News’ role in pushing 2020 election fraud conspiracies and aiding Donald Trump’s campaign has intensified calls among Democrats to black out the network.”
