North Face launches 'Summer of Pride' tour featuring drag queen Pattie Gonia

On Wednesday, drag queen “Pattie Gonia” announced on Instagram that he would be hosting outdoor apparel company The North Face’s second annual “Summer of Pride” tour.

The announcement came in a video, which featured the drag queen wearing a custom rainbow dress and matching leg warmers and headband.

“Hi, it’s me, Pattie Gonia, a real-life homosexual,” the video began. “And today, I’m here with The North Face, we are here to invite you to come out,” Pattie Gonia continues, adding after a pause, “in nature with us.”

“We like to call this little tour the Summer of Pride,” he said, standing in an open field with heels on.

“This tour has everything, hiking, community, art, lesbians, lesbians making art. Last year we gay sashayed across the nation and celebrated pride, across the nation, with hundreds of you, across the nation.”
