The NYPD are currently seeking a black male suspect who drew a swastika on a Manhattan office building earlier this month. According to an NYPD tweet Monday evening, the man is wanted for aggravated harassment.

Authorities released the following surveillance footage to aid in that effort. It shows the suspect briskly writing on the “NO SMOKING” sign with a marker, tagging it with the swastika symbol, then walking off camera.

Per WCBS 880, what’s known about the incident is that it happened on March 10 at 3:40 pm at 450 Lexington Avenue near Grand Central Station in Manhattan. After drawing the swastika, the suspect fled on foot southbound.

“The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man who wore a gray and yellow hooded sweater, dark-colored pants, and sneakers,” the outlet says.

FOX 5 adds that the building in question is an office building that features businesses like a post office and a law firm. Anyone with further information is directed to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
