A trans-identified male sex offender has been convicted of raping a friend with “her penis” just weeks after being released from prison for the rape of a teenage girl.

Lexi-Rose Crawford began identifying as a woman after being released from prison in January 2019, after serving a four-year prison term for raping an underage girl Crawford had met online, and within weeks had committed another rape, this time of a vulnerable friend, reports the Daily Mail.

Crawford, 24, claimed not to remember the incident due to suffering from blackouts, but the jurors at Bristol Crown Court convicted the serial sex offender after just two hours of deliberations.

The former volunteer guitar technician reportedly stared ahead blankly while the guilty verdicts to rape and sexual assault were read out. The sexual predator was released on conditional bail until sentencing on May 10.

Throughout the four-day trial, Crawford was referred to as “Miss” by lawyers and Judge Michael Longman, and the rape indictment also specified that “her penis” was used during the rape. However, it is believed that Crawford will be sent to a men’s prison if given a custodial sentence.

The victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, invited Crawford over in April of 2019 to play video games when the rape took place.
