After additional classified documents were found at Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home, the White House said son Monday that visitor logs to that residence did not exist, but a spokesman for the Secret Service confirmed that they do have records of those who visit the home.
According to the Daily Mail, a Secret Service spokesman, Anthony Guglielmi, first said the service does not track visitors to Biden’s “private residence” but later told the outlet “he never intended to mislead” but that visitors are tracked and screened by the agency before entering Biden’s Wilmington residence.
On Monday, the White House Counsel’s Office said, “Like every President in decades of modern history, his personal residence is personal.”
As Guglielmi confirmed, records of those who visit the presidents’ homes, both current and former, are maintained by the Secret Service.
On Saturday, additional classified documents were found at Joe Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware home.
